As the foremost supplier of orthopaedic footwear to the National Health Service, Reed Medical is always working to improve, enhance and extend our product portfolio. The most recent additions to our collection are grouped together for your convenience on the dedicated 'New Products' page of our website.
In this edition of the Reed Medical news blog, we look in more detail at three new product ranges: House Shoes, Stretch Shoes and Airnet Leisure Shoes.
Designed for the 'at risk' patient, our new protective House Shoes offer all the supportive benefits of an outdoor shoe combined with the comfort required for wearing them indoors. House Shoes are lightweight and lined with soft, warm material, ensuring that they are comfortable to wear at all times. Therapeutic features include toe puffs and stiffeners to improve stability, along with touch-and-close fastenings for easy adjustment and no less than three removable inlays. A full range of sizes is available in narrow, standard, wide, deep and wide & deep formats.
Many medical conditions can cause the feet to swell or become otherwise inflexible, resulting in problems with donning and doffing. Our new range of Stretch Shoes, made from combinations of high-quality leather and water-resistant fabrics, solves such issues at a stroke, comfortably and protectively accommodating swelling and inflexibility.
The Airnet collection of breathable, moisture-wicking trainers delivers fashionable aesthetics and practical value in equal measure. Made using a variety of materials such as suede, nubuck and leather, the quick-drying, abrasion-resistant footwear features 'Absorber' technology, Reed Medical's signature technical lining. Seam-free, the trainers are also suitable for people with diabetes and a range of colours is available in both adult's and children's sizes.
