At Reed Medical, we pride ourselves on offering a fast, simple and fuss-free ordering system to our customers. In this edition of our blog, we answer some of the most-asked questions about the service we provide.
How do I place my order?
Our website offers quick access to our extensive stock range so, if you already know all the details of the footwear you require (such as size and fitting), simply place your order directly on the website. Please note that we only manufacture footwear that you have been professionally measured for: the sizes and fittings supplied by Reed Medical are not equivalent to standard high-street sizes. Patients who receive NHS footwear can also order directly from us with their most recent order number: you can obtain this from your orthotic office.
Where can I be professionally measured for my footwear?
We have recruited several carefully-chosen clinics around the UK for this purpose: you can find your nearest on the 'Clinics' page of our website. Three visits will normally be required: assessment and measuring will take place on the first visit, a pre-production fitting on the second followed by a final fitting and collection of the finished footwear.
How long will my order take to be processed?
This can vary depending on the type of footwear ordered. Orders that fit within the parameters of our accommodation chart are usually fulfilled within 10 days but fully-bespoke designs may take longer. Our team will discuss this with you when you order and will keep you fully informed of any delays or other changes.
If you need help with your order or require any more advice or information, please do not hesitate to contact our expert team.
