Footwear Care
- Never dry wet shoes in front of a fire or any other intense heat, let them dry naturally. If your shoes get very wet, pack them with paper and let them dry out naturally
- Do not delay having your shoes repaired otherwise it may not be possible to repair them.
- The wearer must constantly check footwear for any foreign bodies such as grit etc, and sharp objects such as drawing pins sticking through the sole.
- It is strongly advised that you examine your feet on a daily basis for signs of pressure. If any visible red marks appear, you must stop wearing the footwear and contact your footwear provider.
- Clean Leather Uppers with a damp cloth to remove all dirt and stains. When dry, apply a good quality wax polish. This will improve water resistance and keep the leather supple.
- To clean Nubuck and Suede Uppers, remove dirt and stains as with leather. When dry, rub down with suede brush.
- To clean Neoprene Uppers – Clean with a damp cloth to remove dirt and stains.
